Spectrum Adventures
Spectrum Adventures was formed in 2020 to provide camps that foster social and community connections for Autistic children and their families.
Spectrum Adventures offers a valuable chance for kids and teenagers to make friends, lessen feelings of isolation, learn new skills, and develop positive identities as neurodivegent individuals.
All of this takes place in a sensory-friendly setting, allowing participants to connect with their neurokin.
Led by neurodivergent individuals themselves, Spectrum Adventures has a team predominantly composed of people with lived experience in order to effectively provide support for Autistic families and their young people in South East Qld.
Many organizations often overlook crucial strategies for accommodating neurodivergent requirements to ensure communication is accessible and work is designed to be inclusive.
Neurodiverse workplaces offer a wealth of diversity, with creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving being key strengths that organizations can leverage.
Learning programs should be engaging, relevant, and interactive.
I am enthusiastic about helping raise awareness within organizations and initiating important conversations about meeting the needs of neurodivergent teams.
